New Fuel Room
Clogging and dirt build-up are the two biggest concerns for fuel injectors. A third party recently performed a 2-year test showing that just ¼ of a human hair can cause fuel failure. To minimize the chances of that happening during our remanufacturing process, we've invested big into microscopic concerns.
Our Certified Class Six Clean Room
The recent upgrade was a $2 million investment to make the facilities the most state-of-the-art. This includes a 1,200 square-foot, air-locked clean room and 500 additional square feet just for the testing and disassembly of fuel injection components.
Our new family of High Pressure Common Rail Injectors is built to tolerances in microns, so the atmosphere they're being assembled in must be measured the same way. Our new reman Clean Room is a class six facility that has a standard measure of a single micron; in comparison, a human hair is 70 microns. To ensure that the air quality continually stays in ideal conditions, eight high-efficiency particulate air filters clean the air, circulating 4,800 cubic feet of air per minute; while a blower system replaces all the air in the room every two minutes, or thirty times per hour.
We have installed numerous guidelines in order to maintain our class six environment rating. For example, the clean room uses a five-ton HVAC system, personnel working inside the room wear sterilized gowns and booties, mag locks control personnel access, and an interlock door system cleanly moves material.
To match the state-of-the-art facility, we have highly-trained personnel using top-of-the-line tools. Our staff goes through Bosch and Delphi certification in order to remanufacture high-quality fuel injectors. And they use the latest techniques, like ultrasonic cleaning, for the best results. Investing in these extreme lengths helps New Holland remanufactured fuel injectors go the distance.
